But only if you're into some of life's finer touches. When I first started planning travel, I did what everyone else was doing…. pre-packaged, generic itineraries that felt like summering at a Holiday Inn. But I soon realized the way to actually enjoy spending your time away isn't to hunt for the cheapest rate at the all-inclusive (but don't get me wrong, I love an all-inclusive) but to build something with so much value, you feel like you stole it.

Coming back to a room with slippers bedside and everything ready to dive right in? That never gets old (and yeah, I notice every detail). I've always been the guy who plans the trips. The one neck-deep in flight routes, resort photos, and dinner reservations, trying to make it all fit together just right. Flockin became the outlet for that obsession with luxury travel planning.
These days, I help people who don't have the time to plan travel that truly matches the way they live. The ones who want it done right, without the stress or second-guessing. Whether it's a honeymoon, a big family trip, or a long-overdue getaway, my clients know I'm in it with them from start to finish. Because I care just as much about the details as I do about the story they'll tell when they get home.

Once everything’s confirmed, I handle the logistics—flights, transfers, upgrades, and all the fine print. Before you leave, you’ll receive a clean digital itinerary and a video walkthrough so you can start counting down, stress-free.
frequently asked questions
How early should I start planning?
The sweet spot is 8–11 months out—that’s when availability, pricing, and perks all work in your favor. Three to six months is still doable, but last-minute trips may require a little flexibility (and occasionally a rush fee). The earlier you start, the smoother it all goes.
What happens after I fill out the inquiry form?
Once your form hits my inbox, I’ll send over the Welcome Guide and Client Agreement so you know exactly what to expect. Once that’s signed, we’ll get a Discovery Call on the books and get this party started.
What does it cost to work with you?
Custom trip planning starts at $250 for up to six nights, plus $50 per additional night. Cruise planning is a flat $250 per cabin. Hotel-only bookings through my preferred partners (with a minimum spend of $2,500) have no planning fee—because perks should come standard.
When do I pay?
The planning fee is due before design begins. Travel costs (flights, hotels, etc.) are paid directly to the suppliers once you’re ready to confirm your trip. All payment schedules, policies, and receipts live inside your travel portal and itinerary—simple, transparent, and easy to keep track of.
Can I tweak my itinerary after it’s built?
Of course. Two rounds of refinements are included so we can fine-tune until it feels just right. Beyond that, we can always adjust as needed—this is travel, not concrete.
What if something goes sideways during my trip?
I've got people to take care of my people. You get to enjoy your vacation while I—along with my on-the-ground partners—jump into action. Flight delay? Lost bag? Room issue? I've got it handled so you don't have to lift a finger.
Do you book airfare too?
Yep. I handle air when it’s part of your full itinerary or tied to a cruise. If you only need flights, I can book them separately for a small fee—just enough to keep the lights on and the upgrades flowing.
Do you plan group or corporate trips?
Absolutely. Whether it’s a multi-gen family getaway, a company incentive trip, or an executive retreat, I handle the moving parts so you don’t have to. My goal? To make you look like a rockstar while I quietly run things behind the scenes. You get the credit; I’ll handle the chaos.
Who all are you able to work with?
Flockin works with not only those clients in the Kansas City metro, but anyone in the United States! We work best with clients who have an affinity for luxury and upscale touches and value exclusive and unique experiences.
Are you able to utilize credit card points and miles?
Ah, great question. Since travel agencies are largely compensated on commission after a client travels, we are unable to work directly with points and miles redemption. However, we highly encourage our clients use their airline miles, for airfare as this is a great value for money!
